To work with a Box license (On-premise version) of the Fox24 app, you will need a server running Windows OS. This can be a physical server at your company or one rented from a hosting provider.
There are two modes of operation for your boxed license: as a service or as a HyperServer based on Windows Server IIS.
When operating in service mode, the program runs in the background like a regular Windows program. This mode does not require additional configuration, but can only serve a few dozen users at a time.
Below are the requirements for running the program in service mode.
Minimum configuration (for 10 users):

- 4 GB RAM
- 100 GB HDD
- 100 Mbit/s-Port
If you need to serve a very large number of users simultaneously, you will need a server running Windows Server and UniGUI HyperServer configured on Internet Information Services (IIS). In this mode, the program additionally creates as many service instances as needed, limited only by the availability of resources on the server.
Below are the requirements for running the program in HyperServer mode.
